Water Inflated Property Protectors (WIPP) the water inflated dam can also be used to protect important infrastructure and houses from rising flood waters. They have been used to protect government buildings, power stations and airports.

It is quick to install and can be rolled out is filled with water.  Smaller Aqua Barrier used to protect houses are easy to handle and can be filled with garden hoses. Once the flood subsides the Aqua Barrier can be rolled up compactly and stored away for the next application.

Larger projects may need longer lengths of protection and this can be achieved by overlapping the WIPP to form a continuous flood structure.  We have some excellent case studies.

Compared to sandbags WIPP is so much quicker and simpler to install with less labour needed.  Sandbags will leak and they will also need to be disposed of at the end of the job. A typical WIPP project will be ready for action in hours not days!
