GeoPro Rockmesh is secured to steep rock faces subject to erosion and possible rockfall.  The rockmesh is anchored to the rock face such that it guides the rock safely to the ground and prevents damage to personnel and infrastructure below.

GeoPro Rockmesh is a double twisted mesh wire which provides very good strength and integrity and does not unravel.  The mesh size, wire diameter and coating can be specified to suit the specific rock characteristics.

Installation is normally carried out by expert rock climbers who will rockbolt large unstable rocks and then securely anchor the netting at the crest and allow the mesh to form a curtain to control any rockfall.  Additional anchoring over the rock face will depend on the nature of the rock and the irregularity of the surface.

The applications for GeoPro Rockmesh are varied and include protecting operators in open cut mine sites, over and around mine portals and any highways or developments near steep friable rock slopes.
