Jute blanket is a dense natural fibre matting that is excellent for weed control so allowing new planting to get established.  Jute blanket has good drapability, which means it hugs contours and undulations in the soil. New planting can easily be cut into the matting. The matting is needle-punched producing a strong fabric capable of being used effectively on steeper slopes.
