GeoPro Sheet Drain is a geocomposite drainage product comprising a high impact polystyrene dimpled board covered on one or both sides with a geotextile. The geotextile is either non-woven or woven depending on the drain's function and orientation. Sheet drain is unrolled and then interlocked together to form a neat and reliable joint. It has very high compressive strength and has much better integrity than a sand layer. Common vertical applications would be to reduce water pressure behind buried concrete walls and structures. They are also used horizontally below parking decks, podium decks and below intensive and extensive green roofs. The specifications for the various elements of the geocomposite drain will vary depending on the application.
GeoPro DrainBoard is simply a high impact polystyrene core without any geotextile covering. It is primarily used below GeoPro Desludging Tubes to provide added drainage of the filtrate from the base of the tube. It has high compressive strength and is very durable and is typically reused from job to job.
GeoPro Strip Drain is similar geocomposite to GeoPro Sheet Drain but is narrower and with a greater flow capacity. It is used instead of aggregate drain or perforated pipe in land and roadway drainage projects. It is covered in a geotextile to filter soil from the drain core and it is simply clipped together.
GeoPro NetDrain is an extruded three dimensional polypropylene core with an optional geotexile attached on one or both sides. It has high compressive strength and flow capacity and is ideal for landfill and tailings projects where drainage or methane venting is required
