Aqua-Barrier is a re-useable water inflated dam which can be used in rivers, lakes and streams to create a dry working area to construct a variety of structures including; boat ramps, jetties, bridge repairs and pipe crossings. They are commonly overlapped to form a continuous structure configured around the work area.  They are excellent in environmentally sensitive projects sites as they not only act as a dam but as a silt curtain protecting the water quality.  Compared to more traditional systems they create little or no disturbance to the environment.

Made from flexible, reinforced PVC, Aqua-Barriers have a patented internal permeable baffle system for added stability and security. The deployment and filling of the Aqua-Barrier takes only a few hours. When the contract is finished the Aqua-Barrier can be rolled up compactly ready for the next project. They are easy to transport and can be stored in a warehouse on a standard pallet.

Aqua-Barriers can also be deployed for Spill Management where sewage overflows and other contaminated liquids can easily be stored during an emergency. Chemical spills can be pumped into the Aqua-Barrier and stored prior to a planned long-term disposal.

Water Inflated Property Protectors (WIPP).  WIPP structures, which are modified Aqua-Barriers, can be deployed as Flood Protection structures around buildings and key facilities. They are quick to deploy and dismantle after the flood. Sandbags in comparison are very slow to construct and need lots of labour. They also need special disposal after the flood at the local landfill.

Instatank which is another simpler liquid storage bladder is used for Water Storage on remote sites such as mine facilities, oil and gas projects, isolated communities or islands where fresh water is scarce.  Potable water and non-potable water fabrics are available as well as high performance fabrics for storage of more aggressive liquids.

The whole range of Aqua-Barrier products are available in a variety sizes and can be custom made to suit particular project needs.
